There are also many support groups in the local community that offer a free and confidential information and support service to adults and young adult carers from age 17 living in the Wakefield Council area. 

Wakefield Carers Group meets the last Thursday of the Month 10.30am-12.00 noon at Treacy Hall, Wakefield Cathedral, WF1 1PJ
