Do you give support to a member/s of your family, a partner or friend who has an illness, disability, learning disability, is frail/elderly or has a mental health condition? For example, caring for your parent, son, daughter, partner or friend.

There are also many support groups in the local community that offer a free and confidential information and support service to adults and young adult carers from age 17 living in the Wakefield Council area.
Wakefield Carers Group meet the last Thursday of the month 10.30am-12.00 noon at Treacy Hall, Wakefield Cathedral, WF1 1PJ
